The Church of Conscious Harmony offers two distinct Sunday services.

Lectio Divina 

The Lectio Divina service is a beautiful contemplative experience, starting with a period of Centering Prayer and followed by the prayerful reading of the Divine Scripture with periods of silence. Lectio Divina is a wonderful way to begin the Sabbath. God speaks to us through the Word, through the silence and through the community, to transform us.

Historically, Lectio Divina is a traditional, monastic way of cultivating friendship with Christ. It provides a way of listening to the texts of scripture as if we were in conversation with Christ and he were suggesting the topics of conversation. This encounter with Christ and reflection on his word leads beyond mere acquaintanceship to an attitude of friendship, trust and love.

When:  Sundays, 8:00-9:00am.

Worship Service

In honor of God, the Sabbath and each other, we enter the sanctuary in silence. This enables us to focus our intention on the Divine and prepares us by welcoming the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The service consists of spiritual readings from various traditions with congregational responses.  This is followed by music, a brief period of Centering Prayer and concludes with the minister's message.

The sacrament of Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.
