Song & Silence - Sunday, August 29th 12pm-5pm
Please register in the office or call 347-9673. The cost is $20 and lunch is provided. This five-hour retreat experience will consist of group singing alternating with periods of Centering Prayer and reflective time in the silence. The combination of singing and silence profoundly calms the mind and opens our hearts to Divine inspiration. By raising our voices with sacred intention in community with others, we create the possibility of healing ourselves and the world. We will share simple songs and chants appropriate for all levels of singing ability. Pre-registration is required so that lunch and room planning can be made. This event is led by Bev McCune.
